ABOUT ME
Hello!
My name is Amanda Zawisza. I am a performer with a love for dance, a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) passionate about injury prevention in athletes, a self-taught graphic designer with a love for media creation, and a traveler with endless wanderlust. I recently accepted another performance contract with Disney Cruise Line and will be soon be sailing the world as a part of the Inaugural Cast of the Disney Wish!

In 2020, I returned home from my first contract with DCL aboard the Disney Magic. I returned to Wayne State University and finished my degrees, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance earning Departmental Honors, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSED) in Kinesiology concentrated in Exercise & Sport Science, a minor in General Psychology, and University Honors.

The past year, I have been dancing with ConteXture Dance Detroit, working on projects with Detroit-based choreographers and performers, teaching as a guest artist at dance studios, developing logos and other media for small business owners, and working as a physical therapy technician at a local PT clinic.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and embarking on new adventures – big or small. I am a coffee-lover shaped by 5 years of barista experience and am always trying to find new restaurants to try. I am a highly motivated and goal-oriented individual, with the ultimate idea in mind to blend all of my interests and skillsets into a life full of rich experiences and memories.
